Sales Manager

An international company in the industrial chemicals sector seeks a Sales Manager to join its London team, covering European sales.
In this role, you will be part of a European focussed team, responsible for growing key automotive and industrial manufacturing accounts while developing new business opportunities to achieve revenue and profit targets.
The ideal candidate should have previous sales or business development experience within a related product or industry, with strong commercial understanding, negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.

Main Responsibilities
- Manage key manufacturing accounts and achieve agreed sales and profit targets
- Develop and implement short- and long-term sales and marketing strategies to increase market share
- Build strong relationships with automotive and industrial manufacturing customers and identify new business opportunities
- Negotiate pricing, contracts and long-term agreements to support profitable growth
- Work closely with internal teams including supply chain, product development, manufacturing, quality and regulatory functions
- Monitor sales forecasts and market performance to identify opportunities and manage risks
- Work independently to resolve customer and commercial issues and deliver agreed objectives
- 3–5 years of sales or business development experience
- Experience within OEM, industrial chemicals, automotive, or industrial sectors would be advantageous
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with experience handling contracts and pricing
- Strong strategic and commercial business skills, including sales forecasting and analysis
- Customer-focused with the ability to build long-term business relationships
- Confident, proactive and solution-oriented with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

- Salary: £36,000–£40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + full commuting costs
- Job Type: permanent, full-time
- Working Hours: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
