Sales Manager - Automotive
Are you ready for the next step in your Automotive retail career? We're recruiting for a commercially astute Car Sales Manager to lead our highly successful dealership sales team.
Humphries \& Parks is one of Kent’s oldest automotive retailers, established in 1947 and proudly remaining family\-owned to this day. As we approach our 80th anniversary, we continue to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a profitable, sustainable business and investing in our peoples success.
We want to hear from experienced Sales Manager or somebody currently in a Business Manager or Senior Sales role to join our fast\-growing business. You will work closely with the Sales Executives to build on our current successes and grow the business to new heights.

Role Specifics:
· Fixed 5\-day work week, closed on Sundays.
· Company car (Choice between EV with free charging or ICE vehicle)

Duties \& Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior executives and family owners to develop and implement strategies that achieve desired business outcomes.
- Drive sales performance to meet and exceed internal and manufacturer targets for new and used cars.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company polices and relevant legal regulations.
- Manage and motivate effectively the sales team to meet and exceed personal targets in a collaborative manner.
- Regularly review sales matrices, providing feedback and implementing improvements to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our loyal customer base, ensuring new, repeat business and referrals.
- Develop sales and marketing plans and budgets to achieve agreed financial, marketing and sales benchmarks
- Utilise monthly management accounts to monitor and control profitability of the sales department and take any appropriate action to maximise future opportunities.
- Work closely with our manufacturer partners to ensure we work together to achieve the desired results for our area.
- Sales staff management and leadership experience.
- Previous experience working for an automotive retailer.
- Experience of working with or knowledge of similar profile brands.
- Experience of promoting and nurturing a customer care culture, delivering care levels consistent with the expectations of the manufacturer.
- Experience of organising, directing and controlling the activities of sales staff to work to pre\-arranged plans and budgets.
- Provide coaching and training to salespeople to improve their job performance, with particular emphasis on: customer satisfaction, prospecting and customer follow up, sales process, time management and product knowledge.

Pay: £50,000\.00\-£72,000\.00 per year
