SymTerra is building the site reporting platform that construction, utilities and infrastructure contractors actually want to use. We help teams see problems sooner and prove compliance later, replacing paper, spreadsheets and clunky legacy tools with something built for how site teams really work.
We're a small, ambitious team backed by investors who believe in the category, moving fast into a genuinely exciting growth phase. As we scale, we're looking for a senior\-level demand generation expert to take the reins of our inbound engine, with real budget, real momentum and a leadership team ready to back you.
The Opportunity
A high\-energy, client\-facing sales role focused on winning new business and growing revenue for SymTerra. You will own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pipeline generation through to demo, negotiation, and close — targeting construction and utility companies who would benefit from our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage a pipeline of prospective customers from first contact through to signed contract
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities across the construction, utilities, and built environment sectors
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations tailored to the specific workflows and challenges of each prospect
- Support commercial negotiations and work with senior team members to structure and close deals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision\-makers at target accounts
- Collaborate closely with the Customer Success and Implementation team to ensure a smooth handover and client onboarding
- Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date records in HubSpot, providing regular pipeline and forecast reporting
- Contribute to refining the sales playbook, messaging, and outreach strategies based on field learnings
- Proven experience in a B2B sales role, ideally within construction technology, SaaS, or the built environment sector
- On\-site experience within a construction or utility company, or demonstrable familiarity with how these businesses operate
- Confident, persuasive communicator with strong written and verbal skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- A self\-starter mentality — proactive, target\-driven, and comfortable managing your own pipeline and priorities
- Experience using HubSpot or a comparable CRM to manage deals and report on activity
- Existing network within the construction, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
- Experience selling to site managers, project managers, or operations leads
- Familiarity with construction technology platforms or digital site management tools

Pay: £40,000\.00\-£60,000\.00 per year
