Sales Executive – Vehicle Leasing / Contract Hire

Location: Melton, East Yorkshire (HU14 3RS)
Salary: £25,000 basic \| OTE £45,000 (uncapped)
Job Type: Full\-time, office\-based

We’re a small, ambitious, family\-run group of businesses specialising in vehicle leasing, including Summit Drive, Motorlease UK Ltd and Vehicle Procurements.

Our Summit Drive team focuses on Contract Hire and Personal Leasing, helping customers find the best\-value vehicle deals tailored to their needs.

We combine a high\-volume inbound lead flow with a personal, relationship\-driven sales approach — meaning no cold\-calling grind, but still plenty of opportunity to maximise your earnings through proactive selling.

The Role

As a Sales Executive, you’ll be responsible for handling inbound enquiries, converting leads into placing an order.

You’ll operate in a fast\-paced, phone\-based environment where speed, accuracy, and fast relationship\-building are key.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Handling inbound enquiries from comparison sites, web leads and direct customers

  • Qualifying customer needs and recommending suitable vehicles and finance options

  • Building tailored lease quotes across multiple funders and manufacturers

  • Explaining contract hire clearly (pricing, terms, mileage, maintenance, etc.)

  • Following up consistently to convert warm leads into confirmed orders

  • Managing your own pipeline \- keeping deals moving and customers engaged

  • Working towards monthly targets for units, profit and conversion

  • Liaising with internal teams (pricing, admin, suppliers) to ensure smooth order processing

  • Proactively generating business during quieter periods through outbound calls, repeat customers and deal promotion
This is a full\-cycle sales role, not just lead handling \- you own the deal from first conversation through to order confirmation.

  • Proven sales experience (automotive or leasing is a bonus, not essential)

  • Confident, engaging communicator \- especially over the phone

  • Strong objection\-handling and closing ability

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Comfortable working with systems, CRMs and pricing tools

  • Driven, self\-motivated and target\-focused

  • A team player who thrives in a supportive, close\-knit environment
