About Us

We are a growing UK construction estimating consultancy providing professional quantity surveying, estimating and cost consultancy services to builders, developers and contractors across the UK. Our work spans residential, commercial and refurbishment projects, delivering accurate take\-offs, detailed pricing and practical commercial support.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team in an office\-based or hybrid capacity.

The Role

This is primarily a pre\-construction, consultancy\-based role focused on estimating, measurement and cost planning.

The position will be predominantly office\-based, with the opportunity for hybrid working following an initial induction period.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed quantity take\-offs from drawings and specifications


• Producing accurate cost estimates and tender pricing


• Preparing Bills of Quantities (NRM2/SMM7 / Builder’s Quantities)


• Reviewing drawings to identify risks, omissions and value engineering opportunities


• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations


• Assisting with feasibility cost plans and budget estimates


• Managing multiple projects concurrently


• Working within structured internal systems and quality procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor within UK construction


• Strong measurement and take\-off capability


• Good understanding of UK construction methods and pricing


• Ability to manage deadlines within a structured office environment


• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills


• Clear written and verbal communication skills


• Experience with estimating/measurement software (e.g. Bluebeam, CostX, Conquest or similar)

Desirable

• Consultancy or pre\-construction estimating background


• Residential new build and refurbishment experience


• Experience producing detailed Bills of Quantities
