About the Role
Sarin's Grocery Store is looking for a friendly, motivated, and customer\-focused Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, supporting day\-to\-day sales activities, maintaining product displays, and helping customers find the products they need.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and is interested in developing their retail and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Assist customers with product enquiries, prices, promotions, and availability.
- Promote special offers, new products, and store promotions.
- Support the achievement of daily and monthly sales targets.
- Operate the till/POS system accurately and handle payments when required.
- Restock shelves and ensure products are attractively displayed.
- Check product pricing, labels, and promotional displays.
- Monitor stock levels and report low\-stock or out\-of\-stock items to the Store Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming sales area.
- Assist with receiving and checking deliveries when required.
- Handle customer questions and complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Follow store policies, health and safety requirements, and food\-handling procedures.
- Work effectively as part of the wider store team.
- Previous retail, grocery, sales, or customer service experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer\-focused attitude.
- Good numeracy and basic computer/POS skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and well organised.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays where required.
Pay: £31,500\.00\-£33,500\.00 per year
