We’re seeking talented salespeople to assist Management in looking after our Sales team \- the driving force behind our business. Sales Controllers should be maximizing profitability per unit sales, exploring sales opportunities and overseeing all sales enquiries for the designated site.

Responsibilities:

• To report directly to the Management and oversee the sales operation


• To second face customer to maximise sales and customer satisfaction


• Assist with the operational aspect of yard for the sale of used cars


• Help to direct and motivate the sales team whilst remaining a key member of it


• Implement effective sales plans


• Advise customers of finance and insurance products and services


• Monitor payments and manage Finance agreements


• Work to meet and exceed sales targets


• Ensure the whole sales experience is delivered to every customer


• Complete paperwork tasks efficiently and in a timely manner


• Take customers out for test drives, demonstrating mature and respectable behaviour and adhering to all road/traffic laws


• Build relationships with customers with a view to anticipating future business and strengthening the Company’s reputation within the marketplace


• Lead by example and inspire your team to achieve outstanding sales results whilst delivering exceptional customer service


• Communicate clearly, proactively and professionally to customers, management and colleagues alike and treat everyone with respect


• Adhere to Company Policies, Procedures and Codes of Conduct

• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence \- Any job offer that requires driving company vehicles is subject to a DVLA check, and applicants with six or more penalty points or a previous disqualification may not meet our insurance requirements and therefore may not be eligible for employment.

• Ability to consolidate the sale and walk the customer through every stage of the deal


• Strong negotiation and closing skills


• A well\-presented, confident individual


• Determination and resilience \- and the ability to cope with rejection


• Self\-motivation and drive


• Team player


• Effective time management and flexibility in working patterns needed


• Sales experience within the automotive industry (Desirable)

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: From £42,000\.00 per year
