Sales Co-ordinator (Events and Golf)

Shaw Hill Golf and Spa Hotel are recruiting for a Golf Co\-ordinator with Sales Acumen to join our expanding team. This is a diverse role, where no day is the same, and we are looking for someone with a high level of attention to detail, a friendly and likeable character with strong sales acumen and previous Golf Co\-ordinating experience would be a strong advantage to join our expanding team. You will work as part of a sales team so will also be expected to be involved in Hotel sales as required. In return you will get:

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

\- The relationship and management of our existing members \- our members are very important to us, ensuring they have a positive membership and feel at home and happy with us.

\- Selling and Arranging the bookings for Golf visitors who are staying in the hotel, including mini breaks, stay and play and Golf Societies, Corporate Golf Stays and ensuring they feel at home and looked after during their stay and being their main point of contact.

\- New membership sales and trials and the sale and on boarding process this is a targeted along with a Get in to Golf campaign to attract new members including Ladies and Juniors.

\-To increase Golf Membership in all sections including corporate and Get in to Golf Ladies and juniors.

To ensure Golf Members, Golf Guests and Prospects are prioritised and that the golf team provide all elements of hospitality to ensure that current and new members and guests feel welcomed, relaxed and that they have a friendly relationship with the Golf Team.

To promote Golf positively and innovatively through marketing channels that leads to new prospects and members and guests including a fully co\-ordinated Get in to Golf Campaign for both Ladies and Juniors that is to be led and promoted by the Golf Team.

Ensure Golf Bookings run smoothly completing correct and accurate function sheets for the business. Check all Golf information on the website and current promotions are relevant and price accurate.

Monitor and flex Tee times on BRS

Promote and advertise Shaw Hill Open days on various golfing sites and publications. Host the Golf Open Day , meet and greet.

Develop an on going relationship with party bookers to promote and sell Shaw Hill as a destination mini break venue. Increase bookings year on year

Work and foster a sound and solid relationship with members and the committees to ensure good working practices are in place, liaise with the Club Secretary and Ladies Secretary on managing the diary and social events for the members. Making sure the members tee times are utilised and managed in line with Shaw Hills visitors and pay and play

Taking other enquiries for the business as and when required and creating function sheets.
