Sales Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and personable Sales Assistant to join our growing Birmingham team. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training is provided from day one, alongside strong earning potential and clear opportunities for career progression.
What does a Sales Assistant do?
As a Sales Assistant in Birmingham, you'll be the face of the business and a key part of the customer experience. Day to day, you'll be:
- Welcoming customers and delivering standout service at every interaction
- Understanding customer needs, answering questions and recommending the right products or services
- Processing sales, payments and orders with accuracy and care
- Handling queries and the occasional complaint calmly and professionally
- Following up with customers to build relationships and repeat business
- Working towards individual and team sales targets, reviewed monthly with your manager
We'd rather you know what the job really involves before you apply:
- Shifts run on a rota, typically between 8:30am and 6:00pm, including two weekend days per month
- Busy periods get genuinely busy, especially around end of month and seasonal peaks
- You'll be on your feet and talking to people for most of your shift
- Targets are realistic but real. Most of our team hit them after their first two to three months
- The first four weeks are a structured training and probation period, with weekly check\-ins
This is an entry\-level sales job in Birmingham, so we care about attitude rather than experience. You'll be a great fit if you're:
