Sales and Showroom Retail Consultant

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer\-focused Sales and Showroom Retail Consultant to join our team. This role involves engaging with clients, providing expert advice on our products, and ensuring an exceptional showroom experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a passion for design and retail. Fluency in multiple languages and proficiency with design software are highly desirable to enhance customer interactions and support sales initiatives.

Duties

• Greet visitors and assist them in navigating the showroom, providing detailed product information and personalised recommendations


• Utilise SketchUp and CAD software to demonstrate product configurations and visualisations to clients


• Upsell products and accessories to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction


• Maintain organised merchandise displays, ensuring the showroom remains attractive, well\-stocked, and aligned with merchandising standards


• Support clients through the entire sales process, including answering questions about specifications, materials, colours, and finishes


• Collaborate with the team to develop creative solutions tailored to client needs, leveraging organisational skills for efficient workflow management


• Assist in processing transactions accurately using point\-of\-sale systems


• Develop strong relationships with clients by providing excellent service in multiple languages (English, Spanish or others as applicable)

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or showroom environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for specific software tools such as SketchUp and CAD


• Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD (Computer\-Aided Design), and merchandising principles is advantageous


• Multilingual skills, particularly fluency in English and Spanish, are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively


• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly and confidently


• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measurements accurately


• Organisational skills to manage multiple clients simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail


• Experience in upselling techniques to enhance sales performance is a plus

Pay: £28,000\.00\-£55,000\.00 per year
