Sales & Showroom Coordinator

Full-time | Basic Salary + Commission | Established Local Company

Our client are an established local double-glazing company with a showroom that has been trading for around 30 years. They also have a growing online door business, and are looking for someone to take ownership of the day-to-day running of this side of the business.

The Role You’ll be dealing with new enquiries, speaking to customers, preparing and following up quotations and helping to turn enquiries into orders.

You’ll also deal with enquiries from letting agents, managing agents, builders and other regular customers, as well as helping with the day-to-day running of the showroom.

The role will include:

• Following up leads generated through the online door business.


• Speaking to customers and understanding their requirements.


• Sending and following up quotations.


• Pricing and following up work for trade and regular customers.


• Helping secure and book in new work.


• Answering the phone and dealing with general enquiries.


• Greeting customers and showing them the products.


• Booking appointments with the sales team where required.

About You We’re not looking for a pushy salesperson.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly and confident with people.


• Comfortable on the phone.


• Organised and able to manage several enquiries at once.


• Proactive and able to use their own initiative.


• Good at building relationships.


• Commercially minded and motivated by winning business.


• Someone who takes ownership and follows things through.

Experience in double glazing, windows, doors or home improvements would be an advantage.

However, we would also consider someone from a lettings, property management or similar background, where you have experience dealing with customers, trades, appointments, quotations and multiple enquiries.
