1\. Purpose of the Role

The Internal Sales Administrator supports the Sales Team by managing the administrative aspects of the sales process. This includes preparing and checking quotes, processing orders, assisting with quality checks, and maintaining accurate CRM data. The role also provides support to the Internal Sales Coordinator and acts as a secondary point of contact for customers to ensure a smooth and efficient sales operation.

2\. Key Responsibility

Prepare, check, and send quotes for new business and regrades through Salesforce.

Ensure the accurate and timely processing of orders and handovers to provisioning.

Assist the Internal Sales Coordinator with QI (Quality Inspection) checks on orders.

Contact direct schools for regrades and complete routine touch\-base calls.

Support Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Business Development Managers (BDMs) with administrative tasks.

Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date records of quotes, orders, and opportunities in Salesforce.

Monitor order progress, identify issues, and escalate where necessary.

Produce and update regular sales and pipeline reports for the Commercial Manager.

Provide administrative cover for sales team members during periods of absence.

Communicate professionally with internal teams, customers, and partners to ensure smooth coordination.

Work in line with Exa Networks’ values, policies, and Integrated Management System (IMS).

3\. Qualifications and Training

Minimum Qualifications

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics. A\-levels or equivalent vocational qualification in Business Administration or similar desirable.

Training Required

Salesforce CRM training, internal product and process training, IMS awareness.

Ongoing Development

Continuous learning in CRM efficiency, Exa Networks’ product portfolio, and administrative best practice.

Administrative Efficiency \- Timely completion of assigned tasks and support requests.

Customer and Internal Feedback \- Positive feedback from account managers and customers regarding responsiveness and communication.

Office based role.
Standard working hours apply; occasional flexibility may be required during peak sales periods.

Salary pro rata'd to 20 hours per week.
All duties to be performed in line with Exa Networks’ values and commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Pay: From £24,784\.50 per year
