Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Revenue Manager to oversee and optimise the revenue generation activities for our theatre operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing pricing strategies, analysing financial data, and ensuring maximum profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, planning, and cost control within a dynamic entertainment environment. The Revenue Manager will lead efforts to enhance revenue streams while maintaining excellent service standards and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies aligned with theatre objectives.
- Analyse ticket sales, attendance patterns, and market trends to optimise pricing and promotional activities.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue streams, costs, and profitability metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create targeted campaigns that maximise ticket sales and audience engagement.
- Oversee accounts payable processes related to ticketing, concessions, and other revenue\-generating activities.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for senior management, providing insights for strategic decision\-making.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies related to financial accounting and services.
- Lead cost control initiatives to improve operational efficiency without compromising guest experience.
- Manage budgeting processes, including financial planning and resource allocation.
- Provide leadership and guidance to finance staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in financial management within the entertainment or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, services, and reporting standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive organisational goals.
- Expertise in financial planning, cost control, accounts payable, and revenue optimisation techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders confidently.
