Retail Sales Manager
TJ O' Mahony Ballymount, Unit 2 Building A, Ballymount Retail Centre, Ballymount, Co Dublin D24 X39K, part of HPC Sales Ltd., Irelands' leading Builders Providers and Home Improvement/DIY Store, is looking for a Full\-time, Permanent, Retail Sales Manager to join our Team
Job Purpose: Manage the Retail Department, reporting to the Branch Manager. Oversee customer service, drive sales and ensure the efficient, profitable operation of the department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage sales and customer service within the Retail department.
Working with the Branch Manager to set targets.
Responsibility for the monitoring and achieving of retail sales targets set by the Branch Manager.
Manage the receipt and processing, including delivery, of Online Retail Sales related to the Branch, and deal with customer queries regarding same.
Analyse sales figures and trends, daily, weekly and monthly.
Organise quotations, dealing directly with customers and suppliers.
Organise and control all stock cycle counts on the shop floor and related products in the Branch as decided by Group policy.
Ordering of stock, maintaining adequate and appropriate stock levels.
Ensuring efficient turnover of stock, avoiding build\-up of old or obsolete product models.
Running all promotions consistent with the HPC Group wide sales initiatives.
Oversee profit and margin.
Merchandising of all Retail Goods for sale, maintaining best in class Retail Standards.
Working with suppliers to ensure the product offering is relevant, keeping up to date with market changes and trends.
Handling any customer queries.
Managing and training of staff in the Retail Department.
Ensuring all merchandising of shop floor product, and presentation of the shop floor meets the highest professional retail and Health \& Safety standards, including the managing of supplier merchandisers.
Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety and HPC Group Policies and Procedures.
Manage the branch's web orders, ensuring they are pulled from the system, picked accurately and prepared for courier collection.
Monitor orders to ensure they are processed and dispatched on time.
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, ensuring required answer rates and service levels are met.
Requirements:

Strong product knowledge.
Friendly, helpful attitude.
Supervisory / Management experience essential
