Retail Sales Manager - South Asian Womenswear

Key Responsibilities
Store Management \& Operations
Oversee all daily aspects of the retail store, including opening and closing protocols.
Manage employee rotas, delegate tasks, and work closely with the business owner to lead the team.
Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate stock replenishment.
Ensure the boutique floor is immaculately presented, incorporating strong visual merchandising to showcase our latest collections.
Handle end\-of\-day cash reconciliation and sales reporting.
Sales \& Customer Experience
Drive store revenue by actively selling outfits and providing highly personalized styling advice.
Manage the end\-to\-end process for custom, bespoke orders.
Liaise directly with our manufacturing partners in Delhi to ensure bespoke customer orders are crafted to the highest exact standards and delivered on time.
Coordinate directly with our in\-house tailor to manage and oversee all customer garment alterations.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, order updates, and after\-sales support.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience: Proven track record in fashion retail sales and store management. Experience in South Asian/Indian ethnic womenswear (such as lehengas and sarees) is highly desirable.
Availability: Flexible and able to work 5 to 6 days a week, with weekend availability being essential as these are our peak trading days.
Skills: Exceptional sales acumen with a target\-driven mindset. Ability to speak fluent English, Hindi/Punjabi/Urdu is highly desirable.
Attributes: Intelligent, highly proactive, and capable of independently troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions.
Team Player: A collaborative leader who can motivate staff while working seamlessly with the business owner.
Bonus Qualifications: Familiarity with modern retail POS/inventory systems, knowledge of South Asian textiles and embroidery, and bilingual communication skills to better serve our diverse clientele.
