Salary: £34,000Up to £38,000 OTE

(On target earnings (OTE) is based on historic bonus earnings for this position at this Branch, of £333 per month on average, plus the basic salary of £34,000\)

Hours: 44\.75 hours average per week

Working Days: 08:00\-17:30 Mon to Fri and 08:0012:30 Sat (1 in 2 on a Rota)

Job Description

As Retail Manager you will run the retail function within the depot, where you would report to the Depot Manager, who in turn runs the larger Commercial Department.

The retail department comprises a small team, offering fast fit services, including tyres, alignment, brakes and steering/suspension part replacement.

In your role, you will at times be required to support the technical staff in completing their work at times of heightened demand.

As Retail Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the department’s profit and unit sales targets as well as providing excellent quality customer service to both retail and account customers. You will also be primarily responsible for the management of those staff under your stewardship as well as organising and optimising the completion of the work.

All candidates MUST have a full UK Driving License.

The IDEAL candidate would have;

• A Level 2 Qualification or Accreditation (NVQ, IMI or C\&G) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.


• His / her own set of Tools.

This role is a great stepping stone for further careers progression, with most of our current Branch Managers having occupied the position before their promotion. As such, this role represents an excellent opportunity for an up\-and\-coming manager or an experienced manager who is looking for a focused role, under an existing Depot Manager.
