Retail Assistant (Part-Time)
To provide professional, reliable, and customer\-focused support within the Mill Shop, ensuring an excellent shopping experience for all customers. The role involves delivering high standards of customer service, maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming retail environment, assisting with stock management and replenishment, and supporting the efficient day\-to\-day operation of the shop. This position is well suited to an individual who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and is committed to contributing positively to a successful retail team within a flexible part\-time role
Core Responsibilities
· Welcome and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
· Help customers locate products and provide advice on product selection.
· Process cash and card transactions accurately.
· Replenish and merchandise stock on shelves and displays.
· Answer customer queries and resolve issues where appropriate.
· Report any discrepancies, concerns, or problems to the Store Manager.
· Maintain a clean, tidy, and well\-presented store environment.
· Ensure merchandise is correctly priced and labelled.
· Follow company procedures and brand guidelines.
· Monitor store security and remain vigilant for shoplifting or fraudulent transactions.
· Keep up to date with promotions, offers, and product information.

· Previous retail sales experience.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.

· Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
