Restaurant Manager at Sleazy Pizza

We're looking for a business\-minded, hands\-on Restaurant Manager to lead our small but ambitious team at one of London's most exciting pizza joints.

This is not an office\-based management role. We're a small operation, and we're looking for someone who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. One minute you'll be serving guests, running food and managing service, the next you'll be overseeing the kitchen, managing staffing levels, reviewing sales performance, or working on ways to improve profitability.

You'll be responsible for the overall success of the business, balancing exceptional hospitality with strong commercial performance. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable leading a busy service, supporting the kitchen team, managing costs, growing sales, and creating a positive working environment for the team.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience managing a restaurant, bar, café, or hospitality venue.


• A business\-minded approach with a strong understanding of sales, labour costs, food costs, and profitability.


• A hands\-on leader who isn't afraid to jump on the floor and support the team during busy services.


• Experience managing both front and back\-of\-house operations.


• Strong people management and team development skills.


• Experience working with small teams and leading by example.


• Excellent customer service and communication skills.


• Knowledge of food safety and health \& safety requirements.


• Experience with delivery platforms such as Uber Eats and Deliveroo is desirable.

• Take ownership of the day\-to\-day operation and overall performance of Sleazy Pizza.


• Lead service from the front, working alongside the team during busy periods.


• Manage a small team of approximately 5\-6 staff members, including front\-of\-house and kitchen employees.


• Oversee and support the kitchen and chef team to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency.


• Manage staffing levels and labour costs to ensure the business operates efficiently.


• Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to grow revenue.


• Set up, manage, and optimise delivery channels including Uber Eats and other delivery partners.


• Control food costs, reduce wastage, and maximise profitability.


• Recruit, train, motivate, and develop team members.


• Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction at all times.


• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance.


• Work towards sales, cost\-control, and profit targets while maintaining the fun and welcoming atmosphere that Sleazy Pizza is known for.
