We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant dining establishment. Previous experience in restaurant management, culinary arts, or hospitality is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and excellent service delivery
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high culinary standards
- Lead and motivate team members, including serving staff, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive work environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimise team productivity
- Handle guest enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist with food production processes as needed, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods
- Implement training programmes for new staff and ongoing development for existing team members
- Maintain stock levels, order supplies when necessary, and manage inventory efficiently
- Uphold organisational policies related to hospitality standards and health \& safety protocols
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Experience in team management with excellent leadership skills
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including food production, serving, and barista services
- Background in culinary arts or hospitality management is highly desirable
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour
- Previous experience working in hotel or restaurant settings is advantageous
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences
