Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a thorough understanding of food safety and culinary standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure exceptional service, and uphold the highest standards of food quality and customer satisfaction. The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering a welcoming environment for both guests and team members.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee food production, preparation, and presentation to meet quality standards.
- Delegate tasks, and provide training to optimise team performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in serving guests, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered consistently.
- Monitor inventory levels.
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain high culinary standards.
- Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Support the recruitment process by participating in interviews and onboarding new team members.
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of food production and food safety protocols.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with culinary practices including barista experience is advantageous.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Previous restaurant experience demonstrating excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards coupled with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Pay: From £13\.50 per hour
