Restaurant Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves supervising staff, managing food safety protocols, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. The successful applicant will play a key role in driving the success of our establishment through effective team management and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Organising staff shifts and scheduling.


• Planning menus. Working with food and drink suppliers.


• Ensuring all food safety procedures are strictly followed according to regulations.


• Following all company policy and procedures regarding dealing with cash, equipment and property.


• Maintaining safe working conditions.


• Auditing inventory levels to ensure product availability, and ordering products as necessary.


• Recruiting and training staff.


• Working closely with management to meet revenue objectives.


• Implementing appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales.

Skills

• Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting


• Strong team management and leadership abilities with a focus on motivating staff


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure


• Knowledge of culinary techniques, food production, and kitchen operations


• Experience in hospitality environments such as hotels or bars is advantageous


• Effective communication skills to liaise with staff, suppliers, and guests professionally


• Ability to oversee food service from front\-of\-house serving to back\-of\-house kitchen operations


• Familiarity with health \& safety regulations relevant to the hospitality industry
