Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within a vibrant dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and create a welcoming environment for guests. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating food preparation and service, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities to ensure smooth operation
- Lead and motivate team members, including serving staff, kitchen personnel, and baristas
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to meet quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the premises
- Manage reservations, organise seating arrangements, and optimise table turnover
- Monitor stock levels, place orders for supplies, and manage inventory control
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any complaints promptly to uphold excellent service standards
- Implement training programmes for staff development in hospitality, food safety, and service excellence
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on menu planning and special event organisation
- Maintain a professional appearance of the restaurant environment at all times
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management and leadership capabilities
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with culinary processes including food production and kitchen operations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise with staff and guests confidently
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service excellence
- Experience in managing barista services or bar operations (desirable)
- Ability to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in accordance with regulations
Pay: £24,420\.00\-£36,000\.00 per year
