Restaurant Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within a vibrant dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and create a welcoming environment for guests. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating food preparation and service, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities to ensure smooth operation


• Lead and motivate team members, including serving staff, kitchen personnel, and baristas


• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to meet quality standards


• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the premises


• Manage reservations, organise seating arrangements, and optimise table turnover


• Monitor stock levels, place orders for supplies, and manage inventory control


• Handle customer enquiries and resolve any complaints promptly to uphold excellent service standards


• Implement training programmes for staff development in hospitality, food safety, and service excellence


• Collaborate with kitchen staff on menu planning and special event organisation


• Maintain a professional appearance of the restaurant environment at all times

Skills

• Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting


• Strong team management and leadership capabilities


• Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices


• Familiarity with culinary processes including food production and kitchen operations


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure


• Exceptional communication skills to liaise with staff and guests confidently


• Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service excellence


• Experience in managing barista services or bar operations (desirable)


• Ability to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in accordance with regulations

Pay: £24,420\.00\-£36,000\.00 per year
