Restaurant Manager – New Opening – Chelsea
We’re looking for a brilliant Restaurant Manager to join us at Willows as we open our second restaurant in Duke of York Square, Chelsea.
Willows is an independent, owner\-operated restaurant that started in Clapham in 2022\. Four years later, we’re growing into Chelsea, bringing the same warm, inclusive and genuinely personal approach to hospitality that has made our first restaurant such a success.
Our new restaurant will be an all\-day operation, moving from brunch and lunch into evenings of wine, cocktails, small plates and sharing dishes, with a dedicated upstairs space for private dining, events and celebrations.
Responsibilities
- Help lead the opening of our new Chelsea restaurant, building the team, service standards and day\-to\-day ways of working from the outset
- Lead all day\-to\-day restaurant operations and busy services, working closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Recruit, train, lead and develop a brilliant FOH team, creating a positive, inclusive and high\-performing culture
- Own the guest experience, delivering warm, personal hospitality and maintaining consistently high standards across service and presentation
- Manage rotas, labour, stock, ordering, reservations and key operational controls, with a strong understanding of sales and restaurant performance
- Ensure health \& safety, food safety, licensing and opening/closing procedures are consistently followed
- Work directly with the owners to drive sales, develop private dining and events, and continually improve the restaurant as it grows
- Previous experience in restaurant management, whether as a Restaurant Manager, AGM or an experienced Assistant Manager ready to step up
- A confident, hands\-on leader who loves being on the floor and can lead a team through busy services
- Strong people skills, with experience training, developing and motivating a team
- Commercially aware, with a good understanding of labour, sales, stock and the numbers behind a successful restaurant
- Organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership and making decisions
- A genuine passion for great food, drinks and warm, personal hospitality

Pay: £42,500\.00\-£50,000\.00 per year
