Restaurant Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food service management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold high standards of food safety and quality. Previous experience in restaurant or hotel environments, along with culinary knowledge, is highly desirable.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities to ensure smooth operation and excellent customer experience


• Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to foster a motivated and efficient workforce


• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high culinary standards


• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the establishment


• Assist in food production and kitchen operations as needed, including serving and barista duties


• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste


• Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote a welcoming atmosphere


• Implement training programmes for staff on hospitality best practices, food safety, and service excellence


• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain quality standards

Requirements

• Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment


• Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment


• Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations


• Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards in the UK


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively


• Leadership qualities combined with outstanding communication skills


• Experience in culinary roles such as chef or barista is advantageous but not essential


• Hospitality background including hotel or serving experience is desirable


• A personable attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

Pay: £31,000\.00\-£42,000\.00 per year
