Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food service management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold high standards of food safety and quality. Previous experience in restaurant or hotel environments, along with culinary knowledge, is highly desirable.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities to ensure smooth operation and excellent customer experience
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to foster a motivated and efficient workforce
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high culinary standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the establishment
- Assist in food production and kitchen operations as needed, including serving and barista duties
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste
- Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote a welcoming atmosphere
- Implement training programmes for staff on hospitality best practices, food safety, and service excellence
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain quality standards
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards in the UK
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Leadership qualities combined with outstanding communication skills
- Experience in culinary roles such as chef or barista is advantageous but not essential
- Hospitality background including hotel or serving experience is desirable
- A personable attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Pay: £31,000\.00\-£42,000\.00 per year
