Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service.


• Supervise and motivate team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and baristas, fostering a positive working environment.


• Support food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.


• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.


• Manage reservations, organise seating arrangements, and optimise table turnover.


• Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.


• Assist with training new staff members in service protocols, safety procedures, and culinary standards.


• Monitor stock levels, place orders for supplies, and ensure cleanliness of the premises.


• Collaborate with the management team on marketing initiatives and special events.

Experience

• Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.


• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food production techniques.


• Experience in managing teams, with excellent leadership and organisational skills.


• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality settings.


• Previous restaurant experience is essential; hotel or barista experience is advantageous.


• Familiarity with serving duties and delivering exceptional customer service.


• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
