About the Role
Muthu Clumber Park Hotel \& Spa is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Food \&
Beverage Supervisor to support the day\-to\-day operation of our restaurant, bar and events
service.
The successful candidate will help lead the Food \& Beverage team, ensuring guests receive
friendly, professional and efficient service at all times.
This is a hands\-on supervisory role and would suit someone with previous hotel, restaurant or
hospitality experience who enjoys working in a busy environment and supporting a team.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support the Food \& Beverage team during daily service.
Assist with the smooth running of restaurant, bar, breakfast, events and function
operations.
Allocate duties and ensure team members are clear on service expectations.
Ensure high standards of guest service, presentation and cleanliness are maintained.
Welcome guests and respond professionally to requests, queries and concerns.
Support the team during busy service periods and lead by example.
Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Ensure tables, service areas and equipment are prepared correctly before service.
Monitor service standards and provide guidance or coaching to team members where
required.
Assist with the induction and training of new Food \& Beverage employees
Work closely with the kitchen and other hotel departments to ensure smooth
communication and service delivery.
Support the management of functions, weddings, conferences and other hotel events.
Ensure food hygiene, health and safety and licensing requirements are followed at all
times.
Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control where required.
Support cash handling, billing and till procedures in line with company requirements.
Assist management with rotas, attendance and departmental organisation where
required.
Report maintenance, operational or guest service issues promptly.
Ensure company policies and procedures are followed consistently.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous Food \& Beverage experience within a hotel, restaurant or similar hospitality
environment.
Previous supervisory or team leader experience is preferred.
Strong customer service skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
The confidence to supervise and motivate a team.
Good organisational and time\-management skills.
A positive, professional and hands\-on approach.
The ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods.
Good attention to detail.
Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety standards.
The ability to work independently and as part of a wider hotel team.
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and events according to
business requirements.
