As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you'll become a trusted and consistent adult in the lives of the young people you support.
Working within a therapeutic residential environment, you'll use trauma\-informed approaches and PACE principles to help children feel safe, understood and valued. Through positive relationships, encouragement and consistency, you'll help young people develop confidence, resilience and the skills they need to achieve positive outcomes.

Your Responsibilities
- Deliver high\-quality care and support within a therapeutic residential environment.
- Support children's emotional wellbeing using trauma\-informed and therapeutic approaches, including PACE principles.
- Encourage positive routines while promoting independence, confidence and resilience.
- Build trusting, meaningful and positive relationships with children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessments and individual support plans.
- Maintain accurate daily records and documentation in line with Ofsted requirements.
- Promote safeguarding and help maintain a safe, structured and nurturing home environment.
We're looking for individuals who are compassionate, resilient and committed to helping children and young people thrive.
*You'll have:*
- Previous experience working within children's residential care (preferred).
- An understanding of therapeutic or trauma\-informed approaches to supporting children and young people (desirable).
- A caring, patient and child\-centred approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work a rolling rota, including evenings, weekends and sleep\-in shifts where required.
- A genuine commitment to improving the lives and outcomes of children and young people.
