Residential Children's Care Worker
Salary: £27,219 \- £29,951 (Unqualified, Pro Rata)
Plus Sleep\-In Payments
In addition to your annual salary, you'll have the opportunity to undertake sleep\-in shifts paid at £60 per sleep\-in.
With typically 4\-8 sleep\-ins available each month, this could provide:
- An additional £240 \- £480 per month
- Up to £5,760 extra per year
- Realistic earning potential of over £35,000 per annum

As a Residential Children's Care Worker, you'll help create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment where children and young people can thrive.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting children and young people in a residential setting
- Helping them develop life skills such as cooking, budgeting, shopping, and travelling independently
- Supporting education, hobbies, interests, and future aspirations
- Encouraging confidence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing
- Building positive and trusting relationships
- Working as part of a dedicated team to provide outstanding care and support
- Celebrating milestones, achievements, and special occasions
One day you could be helping with homework and preparing dinner together. The next, you could be supporting a day out, attending sporting activities, visiting the cinema, enjoying outdoor adventures, or helping young people experience holidays and trips that create lasting memories.
These experiences are not simply enjoyable activities; they play a vital role in helping young people develop social skills, confidence, independence, and positive life experiences.
