Location: Cwmbran
Salary: £12\.71\-£13\.71 an hour.
- 1 on, 2 off, 2 on, 2 off (rotating)
- 8:30am – 8:30pm shifts
- You will work every other weekend
- No sleep\-in shifts

We are looking for a passionate and committed Residential Support Worker to join our Children’s Home team.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting young people in their daily lives within the home
- Promoting safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour
- Encouraging independence and life skills development
- Participating in activities, trips, holidays, and recreational outings
- Supporting education attendance and routines
- Administering medication where required (following training)
- Contributing to care planning and risk assessments
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
- Completing household duties including cooking and cleaning
- Working collaboratively with families, social workers, and professionals
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Ability to work as part of a small team
- Strong communication and resilience skills
- Flexibility and reliability
- Willingness to undertake training and development
- Registration (or willingness to register within 6 months) with the relevant care body
