This part\-time role is not open to international sponsorship.
Rota: 12 noon – 5 pm
Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

We’re looking for someone warm, creative, and enthusiastic who can bring energy, imagination, and compassion into every interaction. You’ll be confident engaging with older people, including those living with dementia, and able to adapt activities so everyone feels included . Organisation, positivity, and a genuine passion for making each day meaningful are essential. This role matters because activities are at the heart of residents’ wellbeing — they reduce loneliness, spark joy, build confidence, and create moments that truly enrich daily life. Your ideas and presence will help transform ordinary days into experiences residents look forward to.
What you’ll be doing
- Planning, organising, and delivering a varied programme of activities
- Encouraging resident participation and adapting activities to individual needs
- Supporting residents to maintain hobbies, interests, and social connections
- Creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere within the home
- Working closely with colleagues, families, and volunteers
- Helping to organise special events, celebrations, and themed days
- Our committed team provides care to more than 1,000 adults across Lancashire. It runs 16 Care Homes and 13 Day Centres where the team provides support for older people, adults living with dementia and their families.
