Reservations Manager
U9 London is an award\-winning luxury karaoke and cocktail venue in the heart of Leicester Square. We are looking for an experienced, organised and commercially focused Reservations Manager to lead our bookings operation and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
This role offers excellent earning potential for a motivated individual. In addition to the base salary, you will receive performance\-related earnings linked to the number and value of confirmed bookings you generate. The more business and revenue you bring to U9, the more you can earn.
Key responsibilities
- Manage enquiries and bookings across telephone, email and online platforms
- Proactively convert enquiries into confirmed bookings and maximise revenue
- Maximise revenue through upselling rooms, packages, food and beverages
- Handle deposits, minimum spends, packages and special requests
- Manage corporate, group, celebration and private\-event bookings
- Follow up on outstanding enquiries and lost\-booking opportunities
- Maintain accurate booking records and communicate details to the operations team
- Lead, train and support the reservations team
- Build strong guest relationships and encourage repeat business
- Resolve booking issues and complaints professionally
- Monitor conversion rates, booking values and weekly sales performance
- Support promotional and strategies to increase bookings during quieter periods
- Previous reservations, events or hospitality sales experience
- A highly motivated and target\-driven approach
- Strong sales and customer\-service skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Confident telephone and written communication skills
- Experience with DesignMyNight, SevenRooms or similar reservation platforms
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy late\-night environment
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to increasing revenue
- Availability to work evenings and weekends when required
- Mandarin or Chinese\-speaking ability would be an advantage, but is not essential
- Competitive salary £32,000 \- £35,000, depending on experience plus Service Charge

Experience: Reservations, hospitality sales or events: Two years preferred
