Key responsibilities

In this role, you manage the entire process around spare parts inquiries and component business – from the first customer inquiry to successful order processing. As a central contact person for customers and ABB units worldwide, you contribute daily to ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction.

This role is contributing to Division Automation – Energy Industries in Mannheim. Main stakeholders are end customers (both international and from Germany), internal equipment managers, the commercial department, and logistics.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Handling and processing spare parts inquiries from domestic and international markets, as well as creating quotations based on price lists and own price calculations

  • Order processing in SAP in close collaboration with the commercial department – from purchase requests through material procurement to shipment

  • Coordination and monitoring of ongoing orders with regard to meeting deadlines and cost control

  • Communication with end customers and internal stakeholders, primarily via email, to clarify commercial and logistical questions
You will join a dedicated team, where you can take responsibility independently, build successful customer relationships, and directly experience how your work contributes to the success of our customers.

Qualifications for the role

  • You hold a qualification in commercial or technical training

  • You are characterized by excellent communication skills, high teamwork ability, proactivity, and flexibility. Additionally, you work in a structured and autonomous manner

  • You bring several years of professional experience in customer service, order processing, or the spare parts sector

  • You have solid knowledge of using ERP systems, such as SAP and are confident in handling MS Office applications.

  • You have very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
