Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Small Animal Practice

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive small animal practice in Bridgwater, Somerset.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working as part of a close\-knit team, and is looking for a varied role within a well\-established practice.

About the role:

As a valued member of our nursing team, you will be involved in all aspects of veterinary nursing, including:

\- Inpatient care and monitoring
\- Nurse consultations and clinics
\- Anaesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing
\- Laboratory work and diagnostic support
\- Assisting veterinary surgeons during procedures
\- Client education and support
\- Maintaining high standards of patient welfare and clinical care

The position is full\-time and includes:

\- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
\- 1 night per week dedicated to inpatient care and patient monitoring
\- No routine out\-of\-hours commitments beyond the scheduled inpatient night

About You:

The ideal candidate will:

\- Be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with the RCVS
\- Have a positive, proactive attitude and excellent communication skills
\- Be committed to delivering outstanding patient and client care
\- Enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team
\- Be confident in all aspects of general nursing duties
\- Newly qualified and experienced nurses are welcome to apply
