Registered Nurse

- To work as part of a team to provide and maintain professional standards in accordance with the principles of care as set out by the guidelines of the NMC.
- Provide a high standard of direct nursing care to service users and continuously evaluate the quality of care given based on the assessment of care needs and in consultation with the service users, their relatives and the care team.
- Administer and order medicines as required by service users and the home’s policies and procedures.
- Liaise with service users’ GPs and other healthcare professionals involved.
- Engage in nurse care planning and implementation of care plans.
- To ensure all service users religious, cultural, physical, social and emotional needs are met.
- To manage emergencies confidently, be confident enough to make autonomous decisions, while collaborative enough to work as part of a multi\-disciplinary team Monitoring, recording and reporting symptoms or changes in residents
- To lead, motivate and mentor your team on shift, ensuring that effective, high\-quality care is given to achieved planned goals.
- To deliver clinical guidance to colleagues, and professional supervision to care staff as appropriate.
\-· RGN Qualified \& NMC (Nursing \& Midwifery Council) Registered
· Ability to lead a shift and direct Support Workers
· Previous older peoples care experience is desirable but not essential
· Caring \& compassionate with an excellent clinical track record
· Passionate about delivering outstanding care to older people
· Excellent organisation \& leadership skills
· Effective communication skills
· Flexible, professional and committed to being the best
