Job Summary
- Deliver safe, effective, high‑quality nursing care centred around each resident’s needs and preferences.
- Administer medications and treatments in line with professional, legal, and organisational standards.
- Lead on care planning, ensuring plans reflect residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Work collaboratively with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes.
- Support the Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager in guiding and mentoring the care team. Respond confidently and competently to clinical emergencies.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare, rights, and dignity of all residents.
- Maintain up‑to‑date clinical knowledge and share concerns or insights with the Home Manager.
- Ensure the service operates in line with regulations, best practice, and agreed financial plans.
- Attend mandatory training and actively pursue professional development opportunities.
- Work in full compliance with the NMC Code of Conduct and maintain NMC revalidation every three years.
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with current NMC registration and work within the Code of Conduct
- A passion for delivering exceptional, person‑centred care.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, clinical judgement, and problem‑solving abilities.
