About the Role
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will take clinical responsibility for a caseload of people we support, providing high\-quality, evidence\-based nursing care tailored to their individual needs.
You will be involved throughout the individual's journey — from assessment and admission through to care planning, ongoing support and discharge — working closely with the people we support, families, colleagues and external professionals.
No two days will be the same. You will use your clinical knowledge, therapeutic approach and positive risk\-management skills to support people with complex and changing needs.

️ What You'll Be Doing
Your role will include:
- Completing comprehensive mental health assessments and developing detailed case summaries.
- Developing, implementing and reviewing care, support and risk management plans.
- Supporting admissions, transitions and discharges.
- Managing a caseload of people we support with complex mental health presentations.
- Providing evidence\-based, person\-centred nursing interventions.
- Working collaboratively with the people we support to promote recovery, independence and quality of life.
- Liaising with secondary mental health services, commissioners and wider multi\-disciplinary teams.
- Supporting and leading on medication management, audits and competency assessments.
- Monitoring and responding appropriately to clinical emergencies and changes in risk.
- Providing clinical input into weekly escalation calls.
- Ensuring all clinical records and documentation are accurate, timely and maintained in line with professional and legal requirements.
- Supporting safeguarding and ensuring concerns are identified, reported and managed appropriately.
- Chairing and contributing to care reviews and multi\-agency meetings.
- Contributing to audits, governance, research and continuous service improvement.
- Participating in the out\-of\-hours on\-call rota.

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- A Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration.
- Newly qualified nurses and nurses looking to complete their Preceptorship are encouraged to apply.
