Job Title: Registered Manager (Ofsted)
Location: Shrewsbury (SY3\)
Salary: £55,500 basic salary \| OTE up to £64,500 \| Additional £5,000 increase to base salary after 5 years’ service
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, plus participation in Registered Manager on\-call rota

Service Users: Children and young people in a Solo / SHB setting
Qualifications Required: Level 5 Leadership \& Management, Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years’ experience within children’s residential care, including at least 2 years at Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager level
The Home:
Our client is opening a brand\-new 3\-bed specialist children’s home in Shrewsbury, planned to open in Summer 2026\. This is an opportunity to lead a new service from the beginning, helping shape culture, standards, staffing, and outcomes from day one.

Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager with a strong background in Ofsted\-regulated children’s residential care.
The successful candidate will be Level 5 qualified, hold a full UK driving licence, have access to their own vehicle with business insurance, and ideally have previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager.
Candidates with previous Registered Manager experience should be able to provide previous inspection history and SC (URN) references for review.
We are particularly interested in leaders with a demonstrable track record of delivering excellent care, developing stable teams, and achieving strong regulatory outcomes.
