Salary: £45,000 \- £65,000 per year (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our children’s residential care home. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day\-to\-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered and that the service remains fully compliant with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operation of the children’s residential home in line with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Regulations.
- Ensure the home provides high\-quality, child\-centred care that promotes positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Lead, support, and develop the staff team, promoting a positive and professional culture.
- Ensure safeguarding and child protection practices are embedded and consistently followed.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies.
- Build positive relationships with social workers, families, and other professionals.
- Monitor and improve the quality of care through audits, supervision, and staff development.
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Substantial experience working within children’s residential care.
- A relevant qualification such as a degree in social care, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Experience managing or supervising staff within a residential setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to create a stable, safe, and nurturing environment for children and young people.
