The Regional Business Manager Role

Reporting to the Group Regional Director, this is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for the performance of our Irish Distribution Centre, including P\&L accountability.

You will lead all key functions across the site – sales, procurement and logistics – ensuring alignment with wider business strategy while driving sustainable, profitable growth. This is a broad and influential role where you will balance strategic planning with hands\-on leadership, ensuring that both commercial and operational objectives are consistently delivered.

You will shape and execute the business plan for your region, drive a high\-performance culture, and ensure a relentless focus on customer experience, operational excellence and financial performance. Alongside this, you will play a key role in developing talent, strengthening stakeholder relationships and contributing to the wider success of the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall performance of the site, with full accountability for P\&L, sales growth and operational delivery

  • Develop and implement a clear business plan aligned to regional and group strategy

  • Drive commercial performance across new business, account development and customer retention

  • Lead and integrate core functions including sales, procurement and logistics to deliver consistent results

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders

  • Analyse financial and operational data to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Partner with central sales and national accounts teams to maximise regional opportunities

  • Ensure a customer\-focused culture, delivering high service levels and continuous improvement

  • Lead, coach and develop your management \& sales team, embedding a high\-performance and accountable culture

  • Oversee recruitment, succession planning and talent development across the site

  • Ensure compliance with all health \& safety, operational and people\-related standards
What you will bring

Essential:

  • Proven leadership experience within a sales\-led distribution, logistics or supply chain environment

  • Experience managing multi\-functional teams, ideally across sales, operations and procurement

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing P\&L performance

  • Demonstrable ability to drive growth, improve performance and deliver against targets

  • A hands\-on leadership style, comfortable operating both strategically and operationally

  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship\-building skills

  • Strong decision\-making capability, with the ability to operate autonomously

  • Experience developing, coaching and leading high\-performing teams

  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels

  • Strong IT and systems capability, including CRM and reporting tools

  • Full valid driving licence (essential)

  • Residing within maximum one hour commute from our Rathcoole site
Desirable:
  • Experience within a fast\-paced distribution, wholesale or FMCG environment

  • Exposure to packaging or similar product\-based sectors

  • Experience working within a multi\-site or decentralised organisation

  • Previous use of Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM systems

  • Formal leadership or sales training
