Operating for over 80 years from within West Yorkshire, Victor Manufacturing Ltd are a long established, family owned and operated, manufacturer of catering equipment \& servery counters supplying a number of prestigious clients both nationally and internationally.

The Role
As a Refrigeration Engineer at Victor Manufacturing, you will be responsible for providing the service, repair and installation of Victor Mfg Refrigerated and Heated Catering equipment across the UK covering a variety of customers within Retail, Care, Hospitals, Schools and hotels. Some wider UK coverage will be required on occasions also.

As part of your role you will be required to complete maintenance and warranty reports and provide effective and accurate feedback to the relevant departments within the company to help improve build processes, build quality and reduce warranty call outs.

Service calls may require out\-of\-hours travel/work and potentially overnight stays, as necessary.
You will be provided with a van and specialist tools.

In addition to warranty call outs, you may also be required, on occasions to assist within the factory on other projects such as Production / Technical / R\&D.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will be reliable, flexible and have a strong background in servicing, problem solving and rectification. In addition, the successful candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and take pride in their work and the service they provide.

Key Skills:

· You will possess the relevant refrigeration handling qualifications and experience. Specifically, F\-GAS and Hydrocarbon (R290\) – Essential

· Experience of servicing and repairing both refrigerated an heated products \- Essential

· Have a working knowledge of electrical wiring as well as relevant qualifications – Essential

· Possess theoretical knowledge of refrigerated and heated systems and able to diagnose faults, rectify and test in a safe and efficient manner \- Essential

· Have the knowledge and ability to help supervise, train and develop trainee / junior engineers \- Essential

· Good Written and communication skills – Essential

· Full clean UK driving licence – Essential

Hours of Work:
7:30am to 4:00pm (Monday to Thursday)
7:30am to 3:00pm (Friday)

(Standard hours \= 39 hours per week)

Due to the nature of this role, early mornings, late finishes, weekend work and bank holidays will be required on occasions.
