Refrigeration Engineer

Role : Refrigeration \& Air Conditioning Engineer
Location : Swindon / Bristol / Gloucester

• Salary: Up to £45,000


• Holiday Entitlement: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays


• Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week


• Typical Day: 8:00am – 5:00pm with a 1\-hour lunch break


• Lunch Pay: If you work a 9\-hour day, you will receive pay for the lunch hour at your normal rate


• Travel Time: Fully door\-to\-door


• On\-Call Rota:


• 1 weekday per week


• 1 weekend in every 5

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance and repair works on a range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. ( Coldrooms,Ice Machines, Bottle coolers, display units, VRV, VRF, Splits )


• Diagnose faults and propose effective solutions.


• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and company procedures.


• Participate in the on\-call rota and respond to reactive calls as scheduled.


• Maintain accurate job records using company\-issued phone or tablet (no tracking enabled).


• Visit the office as required to collect parts, restock vans, or unload equipment.

Essential

• Proven experience in refrigeration and/or air conditioning service engineering


• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration \& Air Conditioning (or equivalent)


• F\-Gas Category 1 qualification


• Strong fault\-finding skills


• Full UK driving licence


• Good communication and customer\-facing skills

Pay: £40,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
