Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Refrigeration \& Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a rewarding career in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will gain practical, hands\-on experience while studying towards recognised industry qualifications.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting with the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.


• Learning to diagnose faults and troubleshoot equipment under supervision.


• Supporting engineers on commercial, retail, educational, and hospitality sites.


• Recording work carried out using electronic job management systems and tablet devices.


• Developing an understanding of health and safety procedures and industry best practices.


• Building technical knowledge and practical skills through both on\-site training and college\-based learning.

What We're Looking For

• A genuine interest in refrigeration, air conditioning, or mechanical systems.


• Good practical and problem\-solving skills.


• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.


• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.


• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.


• Basic IT skills and confidence using electronic devices.


• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English are preferred.


• A full clean UK drivers licence is desirable.
