About the Role

As Bar Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day\-to\-day leadership and performance of Red Bar. Acting as a highly visible presence within the venue, you will oversee operations, guest satisfaction, financial performance, compliance and team development.

Working closely with the Assistant Director of Food \& Beverage and wider hotel leadership team, you will champion Marriott's luxury service standards while ensuring Red Bar continues to evolve, innovate and exceed guest expectations. Success in this role will be measured through guest satisfaction, associate engagement, revenue growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of Red Bar, ensuring exceptional service delivery and adherence to JW Marriott brand standards.


• Drive commercial performance through revenue growth, effective labour management, beverage cost control and overall profit optimisation


• Oversee stock management, inventory control, liquor compliance and financial accountability across the venue.


• Create a culture of excellence through coaching, mentoring and developing a high\-performing team


• Deliver memorable guest experiences, proactively resolving concerns and continuously enhancing service standards


• Keep pace with market trends, beverage innovation and evolving guest preferences to maintain Red Bar's competitive positioning


• Ensure compliance with all licensing, health \& safety, hygiene and Marriott operational requirements


• Collaborate with hotel departments and key stakeholders to support wider business objectives and elevate the overall guest journey

You will bring:

• Proven bar leadership experience within a luxury hotel, premium hospitality venue or high\-volume operation


• Strong knowledge of beverage operations, financial controls, inventory management and cost performance


• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills


• A passion for coaching, developing and empowering diverse teams


• A proactive, innovative mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement


• Strong business acumen with a focus on delivering measurable results while maintaining outstanding guest satisfaction


• Knowledge of UK licensing regulations and best practice operational standards
