ABS are an industry\-leading and forward\-thinking organisation, working within the Utilities Infrastructure sector and we pride ourselves on being specialists in everything we do. As we continue our big year of growth, we are looking for a talented and successful Recruitment Consultant to come and join our passionate and driven recruitment team. You will have the opportunity to manage key clients and source Commercial candidates across sectors including: Utilities and Infrastructure, Highways, Civil Engineering and Rail.

The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant within ABS, you will be coming into a warm desk and helping us grow. This is a busy role, that requires full commitment and an ambitious attitude, plus ideally having knowledge within our sector and especially a successful background in recruiting Quantity Surveyors. Roles responsibilities include:

• Working towards full 360 role however we do have open roles ready to work


• Client Management such as building relationships with key contacts and Hiring Managers


• Prospecting and contacting new clients


• Candidate search and selection, including Head Hunting and CV data base searches


• Cross sell other ABS brands where needed


• Work to tight deadlines and targets


• Supporting the existing Recruitment team whilst training and working towards building your own pipeline

Ideal Candidate

As this is a fast\-paced role due to growth and us requiring someone who can hit the ground running, our ideal candidate will already be working in a recruitment role and billing. If you have a tenacious attitude and a passion to deliver plus you are motivated by hitting targets and being rewarded financially

We are also ideally looking for:

• Knowledge of recruiting in Utilities and Infrastructure, Highways, Civil Engineering and Rail sectors (Although we are open to a talented Recruter looking for a new sector


• Strong exposure working within a recruitment role


• An ambitious can\-do attitude


• High levels of resilience and self\-motivation


• Strong communication and people skills


• Strong resourcing skills
