Rapid Response Care Worker (Nights)

The role

You'll be providing cover for our community\-based complex care teams across Merseyside and Cheshire. The nature of this role means that *every day really is different*.

You could be working with an adult with an acquired brain injury in Cheshire one night, and helping get a child to bed in Liverpool the following night. You'll need to be comfortable working like this, confident, and possess a suitable level of experience, although bespoke clinical competency training will be provided for each of our clients.

You'll need to be happy to travel across the North West, but mainly in and around Merseyside. Many of our clients require round\-the\-clock care so you'll mostly be working 12hr shifts, sometimes alongside another experienced member of staff. Most of your shifts will be 8\-8, but you may sometimes work slightly shorter or longer hours. Your start times may also vary due to the nature of this role.

This role requires you to work a shift pattern of 4 shifts one week, 3 shifts the next, on a rolling basis. You may not always get called out, but will be paid regardless! You'll also have the opportunity to pick up extra shifts, should you wish.

Requirements

What we'd like:

• Experience in caring for patients / clients with complex health needs


• Based in Wirral or Merseyside area

• A car driver with access to your own vehicle

Whilst we expect a degree of experience in caring for individuals with complex health needs, full clinical training on the specific needs of our client will be provided for the right candidates. This includes a combination of e\-learning and classroom\-based training, followed by job\-shadowing and "hands\-on" training by a Lead Nurse. We operate a 24hr clinical on\-call to provide round\-the\-clock support to our clients and their care teams.
