We are an established, design\-led manufacturer and installer of high\-quality domestic and commercial interior solutions based in Mullingar. For over 25 years, we have specialised in commercial fit\-outs, bespoke joinery, window and door systems, and glazing solutions for schools, offices, and public spaces, alongside premium residential projects.

We are seeking a detail\-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Furniture Estimator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who wants to take ownership of the pricing, sourcing and tendering lifecycle for diverse commercial and domestic projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Tendering \& Procurement: Manage the end\-to\-end tendering process via E\-Tenders, ensuring all submissions are accurate, competitive, and submitted on time.


• Cost Estimating: Prepare detailed material, labour, and manufacturing cost estimates for commercial joinery, fitted furniture, utility solutions and window/door packages.


• Sourcing \& Procurement: Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and sub\-contractors for hardware, specialised materials and components to maximize project margins.


• Take\-offs \& Variations: Conduct accurate material take\-offs from architectural drawings, floor plans, and technical specifications. Track and value variations throughout the project lifecycle.


• Collaboration: Work closely with our design, manufacturing and installation teams to ensure project handovers are seamless and aligned with estimated budgets.

While we don't expect you to tick every single box, experience or strong knowledge in the following areas will make you a standout candidate:

• Industry Experience: Background in commercial joinery, fitted furniture, fit\-outs, or PVC/Composite windows and doors.


• Tendering Systems: Proven experience navigating and bidding through E\-Tenders or similar public procurement platforms.


• Technical Skills: Ability to read and accurately interpret architectural drawings and specifications. Proficiency in Excel is essential.


• Sourcing Savvy: Strong negotiation skills with a track record of effective material sourcing and vendor management.


• Qualifications: A degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline is highly desirable, but equivalent practical industry estimating experience will be strongly considered.

• Competitive salary of €30,000 – €50,000 tailored to your experience level.
