We are seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budget control, and financial planning for construction projects. Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects from initial design through to completion.
- Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets, identifying potential overruns early.
- Conduct detailed tender analysis and evaluate contractor bids to ensure competitive pricing.
- Manage contractual changes and variations, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to optimise resource allocation and minimise costs.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts to inform decision\-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in procurement processes by preparing tender documentation and evaluating supplier quotations.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal frameworks.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in cost control techniques and financial management software.
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
