Quality Operations Technician

SRG is working with a leading beauty and cosmetics manufacturer in Hampshire who are looking for a Quality Technician to join the team. This is a great opportunity to carry out quality control inspections, audits and GMP compliance checks across incoming components and manufacturing operations. It would suit someone with experience in a QC or QA role within a GMP manufacturing environment, ideally within cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceuticals or another heavily regulated industry or recent graduates looking to gain experience in industry.
Working Hours: Mon to Friday 40 hours per week, 07:00am - 15:00pm 25 days holiday plus 8 statutory holidays
Role / Description
- Performing inspections and audits across products, processes and documentation, checking they meet the required standards, compliance and safety expectations on incoming components and the manufacturing floor
- Evaluating components and third-party products against specification
- Conducting daily GMP compliance checks across the plant
- Supporting Operations with basic in-process tests such as weight checks, torque tests, viscosity and pH testing
- Escalating and reporting any out-of-spec products or processes to management
- Supporting deviation handling, troubleshooting and CAPA effectiveness checks
- Providing on-the-job guidance to Operations on quality and operational procedures
- Contributing to site-level and wider global quality programmes to help maintain compliance across key areas of the business
- Experience in a QC or QA role within a manufacturing environment, OR a degree in a relevant scientific discipline
- Comfortable using standard inspection equipment such as scales, torque testers or pH meters for in-process testing (desirable, not essential)
- Available to start immediately
- Sponsorship is not available for this role. Visa applicants can still be considered, provided you already hold the right to work in the UK for the full 12-month duration of the contract.
