Quality Engineer Automation
The Quality Engineer Automation is part of Quality Automation and responsible for further developing and structuring the overall quality of automation.The Quality Engineer Automation is responsible for all quality related processes for Ranpak products and services. You will report directly to the Teamleader Automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and continuously improve all quality\-related processes within the Automation department.
- Develop and maintain the Quality Control system, including procedures, work instructions, and related training.
- Manage the non\-conforming report (NCR) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) systems for Automation.
- Handle customer complaints and support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
- Define quality requirements for automation machines and lead the final approval and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with customers.
- Drive a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the department.
- Support the Quality Management System according to ISO9001 standards.
- Ensure open and effective communication with all other Ranpak entities.
You bring a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, combined with experience as a Quality Engineer, Manager, or Specialist in a production environment. You have a problem\-solving mindset and a hands\-on attitude, with a convincing and professional demeanor towards customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
You also bring:
- Fluency in both Dutch and English. This is crucial for effective communication with our production teams and because much of our current technical documentation is in Dutch.
- Knowledge of technical Automation systems and components is preferred.
- Knowledge of the ISO9001 quality management system is preferred.
- Software knowledge and/or experience is an asset.
- An analytical, observant, and independent working style, while also being a strong team player.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel internationally on occasion.
