Quality Assurance Coordinator - 6 month fixed term contract initially

Day-to-day of the role:
- Coordinate both internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and standards.
- Conduct internal QA audits according to the Internal Annual Audit Plan, collaborating with department managers to implement necessary documentation updates and changes.
- Manage responses to audit findings, including nonconformance and corrective actions, facilitating cross-departmental quality improvements and continuous service enhancement.
- Maintain meticulous records of non-compliance issues and follow up to ensure they are resolved.
- Oversee the document control system, ensuring that all documentation is current, amendments are logged and authorised, and only the latest documents are accessible.
- Promote a unified approach to quality assurance across the organisation, ensuring processes and procedures are integrated and aligned with their Strategic Business Plan.
- Support the ongoing development and implementation of operational processes, enhancing service delivery through a comprehensive organisational approach.
- Contribute to the knowledge base of the organisation by staying informed about departmental strategies, policies, and procedures, and identifying potential improvements through a customer-focused perspective.
- Assist in the delivery of internal QA training in collaboration with the Learning & Development team.
- Provide support during compliance visits, ensuring necessary evidence is prepared and presented.
- Produce accurate statistical reports for management and committee reviews.
- Manage the financial aspects of internal audits, including invoice verification and payment arrangements.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the digital platform used for QA and internal audits.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of compliance standards.
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across various departments.
- Proficient in managing documentation and control systems.
- Analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to oversee quality improvement initiatives.
